Andie, une danseuse de rue plutôt rebelle, atterrit dans une école d'art très élitiste. Pour s'intégrer dans ce nouveau milieu, elle doit se battre, mais refuse d'abandonner son ancien style de vie. Lorsqu'elle fait équipe avec Chase, le plus séduisant danseur de l'école, pour participer à un concours de "dance battle", elle réussit finalement à vivre son rêve et trouver un équilibre entre ses deux mondes.
